‘prince of kerala’. Lalettan was not able to deliver lots as he did in the previous decade. Still he had pretty good number of hits. He neither got a good start nor good end for the decade. But towards the middle of the decade, he got 5 consecutive super-hits which is a rare achievement. Among his 55 malayalam films, 12 were super-hits, 17 average and 26 flops.
